Malia Simon is a New York City-based comedian, writer, and actor who has apparently decided to make a website.
Malia’s comedy has been featured in the “You’re Up” standup web series, the New York Underground Comedy Festival, the College Television Awards, and her dad’s Facebook statuses. She is a reigning champion in New York City roast battles, an accomplishment that matters to no one, but she thought you might like to know anyway.
Malia graduated from Columbia University, where she ran the Columbia University Sketch Show and wrote scathing collegiate satire for The Federalist and The Blue and White magazine.
Malia currently writes satire for Reductress and The Hard Times News, satirical sites with over 2M monthly readers. She performs standup comedy in clubs and venues around New York. She previously co-produced a weekly and regularly sold-out standup show called Cult Comedy.
